Yet another one goes down

Post by Omkara »

Check out the list of accidents in air. They are going up for sure. There is list in CNN's website. I just feel like questioning whether maintenance expenses have been cut due to current downturn leading to these tragedies.

My silent prayers for every one affected by this tragedy.

I too thought maintenance could be the reason (because of the downturn) but then which pilot would fly knowing that the maintenance is not done properly. The crash of Air France flight is a shocker. Accident after 4 hours of flight is very rare and it is scary to even think that thunder strikes could be the reason. I mean we all fly all the time in storms. I took a flight just the next day from USA to India over the Atlantic and the experience of most of the passengers after a turbulence was terrifying.

I just hope the reason for the crash is not thunder storm, otherwise every time I take a flight in rain, I will be frightened.
