I didn't like War of the Worlds. It was nothing more than a plethora of special effects.

I recently watched "Crash"...loved it...highly recommended

Mr and Mrs. Smith was a pain in the butt just like I expected, having watched the "original" series on the telly a few times.

Can recommend a couple of movies from last year - Finding Neverland and Sideways. Both pretty watchable.

Sideways was fun. I didn't really like Finding Neveland though. I know it won a lot of awards and praise but it didn't really catch my imagination. It seemed like I was waiting for the "moment"!! Johnny Depp is cool though. I remember watching Chocolat a couple of years ago. It was on HBO again last week. I thought it was a cool movie!

"Cinderella Man" is a brilliant movie.

Yup, Sideways was fun.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith was n't good at all.

Hey Ashish,..why don't you contribute here..or will you reserve your posts only for the bollywood thread ??

Hollywood  . I am not much into it. Just like Sriram I watch almost every Bollywood and Tollywood movies! And good number of Kollywood too :)

Recently I watched "40 year old virgin" . Last half an hour was dragging but otherwise I enjoyed the movie.

Movie "Wedding crashers" is also pretty good.

All time favorite movie (hollywood) - Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Twenty years back I took my first born child to the movie theater to show her Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs while my wife stayed home with our second child. It was father-daughter bonding time. :D
