Post by vivekhyd »

Heres what the city that would host a Formula 1 Grand Prix would require just keep the show going as per schedule.

A minimum investment equivalent to todays Rs1500cr to get the circuit and allied infrastructure ready
An airport suitable to land seven jumbo jets and handle the custom formalities and cargo handling in hours not days by current pace
Sufficient hangar space for those seven jumbo jets
A six lane express way from the airport to the circuit.
An equally good route to all the nearby five star hotels
At least 7000 five star rooms
A place to accommodate the 2500 entourage for each team
Ability to absorb set up and infrastructure costs and wait at least for 5 years to breakeven
