Saurav failed to challenge former WR #1 Ramy Ashour and lost his match in straight games.

A friend who watched said that Saurav got hit on the mouth during the match, but played on despite the injury.
He seems to have stagnated at these ranking levels in the past couple of years. Good to see, however, that the prize money in squash is becoming a bit more meaningful.

Excellent fighting win by Saurav against former top-5 Colombian Miguel Angel Rodriguez ... He was 1-2 down after three games but he kept fighting and won last two games ... Next he is facing Egyptian WR #6 Karim Abdel Gawad.

Saurav lost very close match to the world number 6 Gawad in five games ... He fought back from 2-0 down but in end couldn't pull it off as losing the fifth 9-11.

Close but no cigar. Saurav from West Bengal fought really hard. These are big money events (not a $10K event recently held in australia where Dipika prevailed), so naturally there will be tough competitions. But why Egyptians are doing so well in Squash(both men & women)! What's in their DNA!

In the first round Harinder Pal Singh Sandhu scored huge upset win over top-30 type Swiss opponent Nicolas Müller in four tight games after qualifying for main-draw ... Next we r having interesting match between Indians as Saurav also won his first round against Malaysian qualifier in straight games.
