Kathir, I think that some of the matches are not quarterfinals but matches for placement.

warpspeed correctly pointed out that in 2002 India sent a smaller contingent to the Scottish Junior Open but our results were great. Here is the complete results of the Indians at the 2002 Scottish Junior Open:

Boys Under 19: Finals
Dylan Bennet (Seeded 1 Netherlands) beat Siddarth Suchde (seeded 5-8) 9-6, 9-5, 9-6

Boys Under 15: 3rd round
Trevor Mcguiness (Seeded 3-4 USA) beat Harinder Pal Singh 9-10, 9-4, 9-1, 9-4

Boys under 11: Finals
Ramit Tandon beat Robert Downer (England) 5-9, 9-5, 9-0, 9-2

Girls under 17: semifinals
Jennifer Blumberg (seeded 5-8 Canada) beat Joshna Chinappa (seeded 3-4) 9-4, 9-2, 2-9, 1-9, 9-5 (Jennifer Blumberg won the title in 4 sets)

Girls under 13: Finals
Emily Park (seeded 3-4 USA) beat Dipika Pallikal 9-1, 9-0, 9-0

Belated congratulations to the Indian players and coaches. :D

We didn't cover squash back then. I think it was early days for us and football and tennis were the limits of our reach. :).

Yes, those are simply placement matches. For the "real" results you need to look at the simple knockout table. The Canadian Prichard also lost in his match and these will probably play in the losers draw. There might actually be a losing winner crowned but I don't know about that for sure.
