We didn't cover squash back then. I think it was early days for us and football and tennis were the limits of our reach. .

Yes, those are simply placement matches. For the "real" results you need to look at the simple knockout table. The Canadian Prichard also lost in his match and these will probably play in the losers draw. There might actually be a losing winner crowned but I don't know about that for sure.
