Dan Jenson withdrew from Otters Open (PSA) at Mumbai ... So our top 2 players were top seeded for this PSA tournament ... And both played true to their ranking to faced eachother in the final.

Both having interesting record behind them ... Ritwik Bhattacharya went into the final with an immaculate record of having never lost in six PSA finals ... Other hand Saurav was playing in only his 3rd PSA final having lost in the previous two ... Moreover 20-year-old had never beaten Ritwik in a PSA event.

But yesterday it changed infront of full house that included Aamir Khan along with his wife Kiran Rao.

$10 K Otters Open, Mumbai (1 Star Tournament)

[F] (2) Sourav Ghosal (IND) bt (1) Ritwik Bhattacharya 9-11 8-11 11-5 11-6 11-10 (2-0)
Ritwik Bhattacharya  - “I wanted to keep my record intact but I lost to an Indian. So it is all right.”

Sourav Ghosal  - “In the first two games I was playing well but my shots weren’t coming in. A couple of calls were dodgy and I think I went a little overboard.” . “I hope this doesn’t affect my relationship with Ritwik as I value his friendship more than the title.
Saurav 3rd time lucky

The crowd were treated to a super exibition of squash, this sets up the squash scene very nicely for the next few months.
