All the best for new phase in your life. You must be the youngest professional coach in the world and a rare one who can beat his trainees.

Re: Karan Rastogi Thread ...
karan is taking his coaching career very seriously. Doing a course with the likes of tony nadal etc and getting A certificate is a move in the right direction. He can really help HK tennis with his experience of davis cup and asian games. HK tennis is at a very low point. So karan is bound to improve it . All the best Karan .

Re: Karan Rastogi Thread ...
Karan played in doubles this week to partnering one his trainee(16 year old) and made a good fight .
Ting Yu CHUANG (TPE) / Jui-Chen HUNG (TPE) 4-6 6-4 [10-4] Siu Chuen LAM (HKG) / Karan RASTOGI (IND)
Good to see the training stint for these HKG kids , I'm sure next year by this time, Karan will produce some good results amongst the HKG players , GL !

Re: Karan Rastogi Thread ...
out of sight out of mind. no body seems to be interested in karan's coaching career. once one of the most promising player of India, who was forced to retire at 25-26, due to injuries, is being ignored completely by this forum. he is giving back to tennis what he has got from it. developing a weak team into a good team is a good and challenging task. his contribution for hk team can not be ignored . But obviously this forum is not interested.

Re: Karan Rastogi Thread ...
Thanks, vk, for keeping us posted on Karan's coaching career. We have followed Karan's tennis career from the time he was 14 years old. Generally, we don't follow coaches' careers at all -- except for those of our former players, and that too very occasionally. We appreciate your updates, but surely there is not much more for members to comment on. We all wish Karan the very best in his coaching career with Hong Kong. If he was to come back and start coaching an Indian player, there would naturally be more interest in his work. We didn't get a blow by blow account of Zeeshan Ali's coaching career in the UAE, and nor are most people here going to be as ardently interested in following how Karan's coaching of the Hong Kong team is going. I suspect Karan too would like to get on with his tough job without too much publicity until significant progress is achieved.

Re: Karan Rastogi Thread ...
Also results produced by a coach are less measurable than that of players specially at lower level. Coach normally gets accolades only when his wards start producing really high level performance like say Gopichand in Badminton. Further, we are not following Hongkong tennis players much here. Tomorrow, if Karan can take an Indian tennis player to top 100 or even be a coach of Indian davis cup team which reaches world group, you will see different reaction in this forum.
Anyway, nice to see that he has started getting noticed so soon after becoming a coach.
