Adil played a G2 tournament in Spain and lost in R2. :damn:

AT 16º Torneo Internacional Junior de Sanxenxo - Fuente Liviana, Spain (G2, Hard)

R1 Adil KALYANPUR (IND,102) [7] 6-2 4-6 6-0 Enrique LUQUE RICO (ESP,573)
R2 Adil KALYANPUR (IND,102) [7] 6-4 4-6 6-4 Aaron SCHMID (SUI,186)

I wonder if the training at the Rafael Nadal Tennis Academy is helping him, if anything at all

I wonder about that too. There is absolutely no indication to show that he has made any noticeable progress at all. It's been at least over a year since he moved to the academy, isn't it?

Yes, not much progress from Adil in last 1 year. Losing in second round of grade 2 tournament is not what we expect from him at this stage.

Result of Siddhant's singles SF-

At PTT - ITF Junior Grade 2 , Thailand

[SF] (1) Siddhant BANTHIA (IND,63) d. (3) Ye Cong MO (CHN,83) 64 57 54

So, he remains on course to repeat his last year performance of double crown in this tournament,

[F] (1) Siddhant BANTHIA (IND,63) vs. Ray HO (TPE,96)

Sometimes I wonder if he is a little overhyped because of his height/physique, a little like Mohit Mayur Jayaprakash a few years ago. Hopefully, Adil will live up to his hype...

Siddhant lost in the final.

At PTT - ITF Junior Grade 2 , Thailand

[F] (1) Siddhant BANTHIA (IND,63) l. Ray HO (TPE,96) 46 36

Still this good run will mean he will stay at around 70 in the ITF junior rankings. Next year's junior slam participation is almost ensured.

That kid Mann Shah went on to win the title.

[F] Mann SHAH (IND) [3] 6-4 6-4 Viktor JOVIC (SRB) [2]

Beating top 2 seeds from Greece and Serbia in the semi final is good stuff from 16 year Mann Shah. This Gujarat boy had won the under 16 singles title at Fenesta nationals last week. So,does like a talented kid.

Mann Shah won another grade 5 title in Baharain this week.

At 9th Bahrain ITF Juniors Championships(Grade 5)

[R1] Mann SHAH (IND) [4] 6-3 6-4 Luka PETROVIC (GBR)
[R2] Mann SHAH (IND) [4] 6-1 6-3 Prasanna Pravin BAGADE (IND)
[QF] Mann SHAH (IND) [4] 6-1 6-1 Sai Karteek Reddy GANTA (IND) [8]
[SF] Mann SHAH (IND) [4] 5-7 6-4 6-3 Caleb RALSTON (IRL)
[F] Mann SHAH (IND) [4] 6-2 6-4 Alexandros ROUMPIS (GRE) [5]

Need to keep an eye on this kid as he is very tall as posted by Vatsal below. He will have to start doing well in higher level tournaments soon as he is already past 16.

16 year old Mann Shah continues to do well in tournaments in gulf. He won a grade 4 title in Abu Dhabi this week.

At 17th UAE - Abu Dhabi ITF Junior Championships by ADSC (Grade 4)

[R1] Mann SHAH (IND) [3] 7-6(4) 3-6 6-4 Peter ALAM (GBR)
[R2] Mann SHAH (IND) [3] 6-2 7-6(3) Azamat LUKMANOV (UZB)
[QF] Mann SHAH (IND) [3] 7-6(5) 4-6 7-5 Alibek KACHMAZOV (RUS) [5]
[SF] Mann SHAH (IND) [3] 7-5 7-5 Holger Vitus Nodskov RUNE (DEN) [1]
[F] Mann SHAH (IND) [3] 1-6 7-5 6-4 Connor THOMSON (GBR)

Although it only a grade 4 level, it is nice to see him beat a lot of foreign players.

Vikash lost in the QF.

At Mundial Juvenil de Tenis, Ecuador (Grade 1) (Clay)

[QF] (13) Vikash Singh (IND,159) l. Natan RODRIGUES (BRA,250) 63 36 36

Still, he is showing improvement in his game. He needs to play more tournaments than he is doing as of now- just one off tournament in 2-3 months.
