Finally, after a long time, Manish was in form again, as he won the Indore $15 this week.  Phew!! He is now 22 and is among the very few new bright spots from the last 3 years or so... So I was wondering if the Covid period had disrupted him too much. It did disrupt his plans, and his ranking had dropped, but this was a good start in moving back up. Good job, Manish!!

Manish is playing an M25 on clay in a place called Vic in Spain. He is in R2 of the singles, and (along with Sai Prateek Reddy Ganti) beat the 3rd seeds to make the doubles QF.

Manish lost in singles second round in that M25 in Spain against 4th seeded Spaniard who has gone on to reach the final . Last week, Manish had nice upset of 4th seed in first round but lost in second round to current US open junior champion.

So, Manish is losing to some good players and hope improves his game from that.

Atleast there was a fight. Manish definitely lost out on COVID years. Let's see how 2023 would be for him.
