They won the challenger last week in which Bala / Vishnu had lost in the semis. So a very tough one first up but one they should win if they want to graduate from the challenger level. Hope atleast it goes into the super tie-break incase our guys do lose.

They need to win these matches, but here they lost in the straight sets against similar ranked Belgian pair.

Vishnu and Balaji won the Chennai Challenger title today, their first title together of 2018, thereby moving up to their career high rankings of 102 and 115 in doubles.

Their 4th challenger title together. Vishnu- Bala have won as many 13 futures titles together. Hope in next few weeks they dominate the challenger circuit like they did at futures level last year. If they are able to replace their futures title points last year with challenger title points in next few weeks, they can quickly go upto ATP tour level.

Balaji and Vishnu won a closely fought MTB to edge out their opponents and reach the finals.

The Other semi final match is still under progress with the top seeds Santiago Gonzalez (MEX) and Wesley Koolhof (NED) bagelling their opponents Andre Begemann (GER) and Dustin Brown (GER) in the first set.

The semi final win catapults Vishnu and Balaji into new CHs - 90 and 99 in the Latest Live Rankings. First time in the Top-100 for Balaji.
A win in the final, could propel them up to 86 and 96 in the Rankings. Slow and measured progress from Vishnu and Balaji this year.

Austin and Jeevan are still alive (reaching SF at Winnetka) and could overtake these two again if they win in their SF and/or F.
