Arjun is playing $25K futures in Australia on grass. As I see currently Arjun's ATP doubles ranking is good enough for him to get into challengers while his singles ranking is not good enough. Playing in 25K's may not give him too many ATP points but it can give him ITF points and if he get his ITF ranking higher he can get into challenger main draw thru that route.

He started with a decent win.

At $25K ITF M25,Albury, Australia (Grass)

[R1] (3) Arjun KADHE (IND,392) d. Alec ADAMSON (USA,NR,ITF-466) 64 62

Next,

[R2] (3) Arjun KADHE (IND,392) vs. Matthew ROMIOS (AUS,627)

Bad loss for Arjun in the second round.

At $25K ITF M25,Albury, Australia (Grass)

[R2] (3) Arjun KADHE (IND,392) l. Matthew ROMIOS (AUS,627) 36 60 46

He is in the doubles semi finals but doubles success here is not going to help him much as even a title will give only 3 ATP points. He does not need ITF points in double as his ATP doubles ranking (179) is already good enough to get into challengers.

Arjun lost in doubles final too. So, not much benefit at all from this week for Arjun. Lets hope he does well in singles in particular next week.

Good to see Arjun Kadhe fulfilling his potential on grass. I hope he gets his ranking up a bit more, and can then play a full season on grass courts this year -- hopefully culminating in a good run at Newport. (Then, he could even plan on playing Wimbledon next year).

Arjun is getting pommelled by Kelly. It is 0-5 in the first set with Arjun to serve in the sixth game. Hope he manages to hold serve and avoid a bagel in the first set.

Edit: Couldn't hold serve again. Lost the first set 0-6.
