€31,440 TK Sparta Prague Open Challenger, Prague, CZE

[R1] (1) N.Sriram Balaji/ Arjun Kadhe l. (Alt) Yan Bondarevskiy (RUS)/ Oleg Prihodko (UKR), 46 46

That was that. Indian doubles players are all kinda done with their thing, I guess. Nobody showing any spark in doubles.

Good show this week with a nice upset win, and the SF was also a close loss against a really good team.

Arjun Kadhe won his third futures singles title when he won the M15 title in Bhopal this week. Of course, Arjun has had a much bigger success on doubles tour where he has won 12 futures titles and 3 challenger titles. He has had a great start to the year with 2 challenger titles in doubles and now this singles title. He had couple of encouraging results in singles in Pune ATP and Bengaluru challenger earlier and it seems that made him decide to try to refocus on his singles career. This week he did not play doubles here.

These are his results this week-

At ITF M15 Bhopal

[R1] (4) Arjun Kadhe (IND,668) d. Rishi Reddy (IND,1308) 61 63
[R2] (4) Arjun Kadhe (IND,668) d. (Q) Vishnu Vardhan (IND,1338) 64 76(4)
[QF] (4) Arjun Kadhe (IND,668) d. Q) Faisal Qamar (IND,1453) 76(3) 63
[SF] (4) Arjun Kadhe (IND,668) d. Nicolas Tepmahc (FRA,1039) 62 76(5)
[F] (4) Arjun Kadhe (IND,668) d. (2) Sidharth Rawat (IND,585) 76(2) 64

Arjun certainly has some good singles left in him. He should give it a go. Make some small money too.

Back to back singles titles for Arjun as he won futures title in Bengaluru too this week.

These are his results this week-

[R1] (5) Arjun Kadhe (IND,668) d. (Q) Rishi Reddy (IND,1308) 64 62
[R2] (5) Arjun Kadhe (IND,668) d. Dalwinder Singh (IND,1073) 60 63
[QF] (5) Arjun Kadhe (IND,668) d. (Q) Digvijay Pratap Singh (IND,1239) 75 57 76(2)
[SF] (5) Arjun Kadhe (IND,668) d. Maks Kasnikowski (POL,969) 36 64 62
[F] (5) Arjun Kadhe (IND,668) d.(2) Sidharth Rawat (IND,585) 63 36 61

He also won the doubles title this week in along with Juilen Cash.

30 points from these 2 weeks will replace 7 points that he is losing this week and he will be somewhere around 520 when these points are updated a week later.

He pulled out of next week's futures. So, looks like he will now be travelling to Europe ( as he mentioned in his post match interview after last week title) to play challengers - doubles and hopefully singles qualies too.
