Riya is not in the Q draw for next week's $25K event in Stuttgart. I am assuming she made the main draw cut. Hope that's true and :goodluck:

Decent win as Mai Hontama is the 16th ranked junior but hasn't been in great form lately after making the Australian Open jr. QF early in the year.

Congrats go to Riya for winning the second title of her career.

At $15K ITF Women Colombo, Sri Lanka (Clay)

[R1] (1) Riya Bhatia (IND,589) d. Yuqi Sheng (CHN, 1134), 61 76(3)
[R2] (1) Riya Bhatia (IND,589) d. Ramya Natarajan (IND,1037), 64 62
[QF] (1) Riya Bhatia (IND,589) d. Rushri Wijesundera (USA,1134), 46 64 63
[SF] (1) Riya Bhatia (IND,589) d. (Q) Alice Gillan (GBR,NR), 64 62
[FR] (1) Riya Bhatia (IND,589) d. (2) Josephine Boualem (FRA,606), 76(2) 61

This is her second title. She had won the $10K Sharm El Shaikh in September 2016 and has had 4 runner-up finishes also in her career. The 12 points should move her up by about 55 spots in the ranking.
