Snehadevi won the first round over lucky loser Tiphanie Fiquet (FRA,NR), 60 61 to advance. I edited my post above, where I had the wrong opponent for her (as I read the draw wrong ) ... She also won the doubles R1 with Charlotte Roemer (ECU), over Anabel Aran Torrente (ESP)/ Ekaterina Kholopenko (RUS), 62 62.

Vinaros to Benicarlo is 18 kms - must be a 30 min car ride - she needs to finish/win her finals tomorrow and go play Q1 (Assuming the organizers give her that advantage by scheduling the Q match later in the evening).

I was thinking just the same, that she should be able to do both tomorrow. Usually the ITF tournament referee would help by setting up the qualies late in the day etc.

Sneha and partner lost tamely in the finals. Good week, nevertheless.
