Karman's potential is worth a mention, but her R16 result doesn't get her into my list. Having said that, I'm excited about her future prospect.
She would have been a part of my list last week with her SF appearance at the Canadian Open Jr.

And of course, we can't miss mentioning Hingis here, who helped two Indians to GS titles this past week.....

A Jumbo week for Indian tennis! Difficultly healthy debate who should top among the three giants for this week.
But I doubt there will be another such week for the rest of the year. But I hope for many happy returns.

Very unlucky for Sania Mirza and Sanam Singh to miss out here. I took into consideration the fact that Sumit pulled off a double whammy this week, and RamK upset a player who qualified for all 4 slams this year.

IMO an ITF tite winning at home in a weaker field is nothing compared to anything abroad.

Yes, Sania did win a WTA level title, but it was a weaker field in Guangzhou and I'm surprised she & Martina even played there.
