Good break for her. You need these when injured.

Re: Karman Kaur Thandi
The match was somehow delayed by two hours.... and the first service game for each player was long but they held on and they promptly lost their next service games... *2-2
First comfortable hold for KKT after being 30-30. That tells you how this match has gone so far... 3-2*
Sanchez fights hard to hold a long game.... *3-3
Yet another long game, where KKT saves a break point an inside out FH painting the line, but couldn't save the next break point... 3-4*
0-30 on Sanchez's serve with a deep FH... follows up with a volley to get herself 3 break points and converts the first one with another FH winner... *4-4
KKT holds after being 30-30 again towards the business end of the first set... 5-4*
Sanchez holds for *5-5
15-30 on KKT's serve... deep return from Sanchez, but KKT handled it well and in trying to deal with a short ball at the net, KKT gets passed for 15-40... good serve to make it 30-40... and a poor BH into the net to hand Sanchez the break... 5-6*
Loses the first set 5-7 after a couple of long returns and mishits...
On to the second set now, hoping for a strong comeback.... Looks like KKT is taking a toilet break..

Re: Karman Kaur Thandi
^^^ I think she should just take that extended break and do off-season training, unless she can play somewhere within the next couple of weeks. But I would think she has a good chance to get a WC at the W100+H in Dubai like you say, and may take that up. Maybe she will use 3 weeks of rest and training, and then try Dubai. Then take another break. I suspect she won't play the W25s in India.
Hopefully Ankita and Sahaja will keep us occupied the next couple of weeks from Australia, on the women's side.

Re: Karman Kaur Thandi
Karman has 60 points to defend in next 3 weeks. So, if she does not play anywhere till end of the year she will fall to somewhere around 260 which will not be good enough for AO qualies. She will need around 25 points to make it around 240 which will should be enough for AO qualies. As I see the only tournament he can play is Dubai ITF and try to make it QF there.
Indian W25's in December would not count for AO qualies. So, I too think she will skip it. If she has not got her ranking by that time, it does not matter much if she skips them.

Re: Karman Kaur Thandi
Honestly if she’s injured, she shouldn’t play until the injury heals. It doesn’t sound like it’s just a niggle. Don’t know though. If she picks up points and makes it to Aussie qualies, she should be in a good shape to play them. Otherwise what’s the point?

^^^ Actually that is what I would tell her too. Just take care of that injury issue. Sky is not going to come down. Take the next few weeks off and let it all fully heal.
(By the way, are you in Guadalajara? Saw Rohan's name in the J1 list there).

I see. By the way, Guadalajara is a great city. The town of Tequila not far from there is really worth a visit too. But I hope they won't get to do any sightseeing because of matches all week

Re: Karman Kaur Thandi
Karman has entered W100+H in Dubai for the week starting December 5. After her 40 points drop off in 2 weeks time, Karman will drop to around 260 and will need a QF in Dubai it seems to try to make it top 240 for AO qualies.

Re: Karman Kaur Thandi
Karman has got a Q/LL to be determined, in the Dubai draw. If she wins, she may run into the second seed #113 Kristina Mladenovic.
