And Peyton won, so it is
[QF] Karman Kaur Thandi (IND,382) vs (Q) Peyton Stearns (USA,423)
This won't be easy, so Karman needs to "bring it"!

Re: Karman Kaur Thandi
Karman did not 'bring it' today
[QF] Karman Kaur Thandi (IND,382) l. (Q) Peyton Stearns (USA,423), 36 16
Karman had 9 aces and 4 DFs, while Peyton had only 1 ace and no DFs. Karman won only 37 points to 63 by Peyton when the ball was in play. That is really poor. Against top college tennis products, you had better be ready to spar and win rallies. That is what they are all good at. Karman needs to develop the rest of her game; she can't win just with the serve.

Re: Karman Kaur Thandi
It should be noted that this match was played indoors while the previous rounds were outdoors. Peyton clearly had an advantage having played a ton of matches indoors considering most of the college tennis ties happen in that setup. Karman has made the cut-off for the qualifying draw at next week’s W100 in Landsville, Philadelphia.

Pretty bad 26 36 loss for Karman in Landsville Q1 against Jessy Rompies who is ranked 1200+.
Not sure what happened there.
