@Dinesh...Is that part of your conspiracy to usurp PKB from his "Eternal Optimist" position? ;) ;) ;)

LOL. No Varma, I don't possess such high optimism. I just did not figure out why she would be in Europe when there are many equal level tournaments in Asia - China,Korea,Japan all have a $25K for the next 2-3 weeks.

At WTA 125K Bol Open, Croatia

[R1] Prarthana Thombare (IND) / Tena Lukas (CRO) d. Tereza Mredeza (CRO) / Isabella Shiniliva (BUL) 62 63

Good to see Prarthana winning a WTA level match although it looks like she got lucky with the draw.

Next,

[QF] Prarthana Thombare (IND) / Tena Lukas (CRO) vs. (1) Raluca Olaru (ROM) / Ipek Soylu (TUR)

Not when you misspell the names :D Its Isabella Shinikova from Bulgaria. And these 2 players are pretty much good at the Challenger level. A good win.

PGT won the title :) I was following the match scores - They were 5 games all in first set before breaking their opponents and taking the first set 7-5.

In the STB, they were down 5-7 before making a wonderful comeback to serve for the match at 9-8 but lost chance to finish but somehow happy to nail this STB to their side.

To me, this win is one of the notable ones for PGT as LOurdes Domingues Lino is considered one of the toughest veterans in the WTA level. Happy for Prarthana.

Sorry I can't post proper results as I'm on phone.

Ok, I deleted my post. :D

Only adding that this Prarthana's fourth challenger level title and with that title she will move up inside top 200 of WTA rankings for the first time in her career.

I am expecting she will be staying in France to play another $25K ITF next week, She probably should play some tournaments with Sania after Wimbledon.
