Prarthana is back to the pro circuit after a long break (assuming due to the lack of Asian tournaments). She returned to action 2 weeks ago but lost in the first rounds in both the weeks. This week, she’s seeded #3 with partner Lara Salden at the W25 Lisbon ITF and they are facing a local pair. Hope she gets back to winning ways! :goodluck:

Prarthana with her Japanese partner wins 60K title this week in France. Great to see success for Prarthana after long time. This is her first title since 2018.

These are her results this week-

[R1] (4) Prarthana Thombare (IND) / Yurioko Lili Miyazaki (JPN) bye
[QF] (4) Prarthana Thombare (IND) / Yurioko Lili Miyazaki (JPN) d. Daniela Wismane (LAT) / Joanne Zuger (SUI) 63 64
[SF] (4) Prarthana Thombare (IND) / Yurioko Lili Miyazaki (JPN) d. (1) Greet Minen (BEL) / Arantxa Rus (NED) 67(3) 61 10-8
[F] (4) Prarthana Thombare (IND) / Yurioko Lili Miyazaki (JPN) d. (3) Alicia Barnet (GBR) / Olivia Nicholls (GBR) 63 63

Minen and Rus are ranked in top 75 in doubles. So, win over them in semi final is really good.

You get me so excited, Sameer when I read your post until I see the scores to realize she won a doubles title. Perhaps you can add the word “doubles” to your announcement in the future?

This is probably the only group of people who respects doubles results similar to one's achieved in singles
