Whatever transpired during the game or his oppononents reputation, as I said before the match Ram would win, and win he did, in an emphatic fashion
Kudos - great call indeed :notworthy:
Calling them beatable (could) and would win are 2 different things in all fairness but I guess we can excuse the excitement given the impressive win.

BTW, his opponent Kozlov is an American of Macedonian descent...

His parents are Russian's plying their trade as Tennis coaches, and their coaching journey brought them from Russia to Macedonia to Florida

Excellent, and comfortable, win over Kozlov. RamK is at 140 in the live rankings. Qualifying in will get him closer to his career high.

He plays #109 Bjorn Fratangelo in the final round of qualifiers.

I think it’s the opposite. Sitak/Koolhof is a tough pair that also reached the finals here in NY. Divij needs to think if Lipsky is the one for the long run?

RamK takes the first set 6-3. He quickly went 2 breaks up and was serving for the set at 5-1 but got broken after multiple deuces. But, he held at love while serving for the set second time at 5-3. :D

And RamK up a break 3-1 in the second set.

And now up a double break 4-1. :D

Damn, gets broken while serving for the at 5-2, serving a df at 30-40 after serving a couple of aces in that game.

But, he breaks Fratangelo at 15 to take the set and the match and to qualify for main draw. Fratangelo just could not come to terms with his low sliced service returns.

Bjorn Fratangelo is a JR #2 again and was the French Open winner over Thiem. So I would say so far, Yuki has had a better career than this chap!

Great win by RamK. He could face Young , Chung or another qualifier first up.

Also not that it matters now, but where was the match being streamed?

I was only able to watch the last game but both batmanstream and xbet had it. Generally if there is ever any live stream, then these two sites would have it.

I think the same. The problem however is Divij's second serve is pretty week and so the higher ranked players many not be as willing - its a catch-22 situation. Hope he finds a solid partner sooner than later.
