Also winning start for Vishnu and Divij in doubles against last week's Ningbo runner-up pair ... After winning the first set they lost the second without winning a game but it looks they played perfect STB ... Next they r facing 3rd seed pair.

Re: Vishnu Vardhan thread...
That was a nice luck for Vishnu in first round. But, now he should try & make most of it. His next opponent , Molachnov seems to be a similar level player as Vishnu & the match should be on played on even terms. Hopefully, Vishnu can prevail.

Re: Vishnu Vardhan thread...
This is called luck of the brave . But still you have to win your match and thats exactly what vishnu did. After a tired flight from tokyo he immediately settled down and won both his matches. Thats what I have been saying all along. Give these guys opportunities, encourage them and they will give results. Ignore them, humiliate them and they will start believing that they are no good. Well done Vishnu.

In the second set Vishnu missed break point opportunities early but Molchanov broke him in 4th game and saved few more break points in his next service game ... This break was enogh for Molchanov to won the second set.
In the third set Vishnu take important break in 6th game to lead 4-2 but Molchanov immediately broke back to bring the set back on serve, 4-3 ... Vishnu wasted 3 more break points in 8th game, 4-4 ... Vishnu hold after saving a break point, 5-4 ... In 11th game Molchanov take crucial break on Vishnu's serve ... Re: Vishnu Vardhan thread...
VIshnu just won the first set 76(4).
Very close set where they were no breakpoints & both players kept on holding their serves quite easily. In fact Molachnov was having a bit of edge in terms of points won before tiebreak which made me think that he will prevail in tiebreak . But, Vishnu took 3 streight points from 4-4 in tiebreak to win the set. 41 points each for both players in first set but Vishnu won the points that mattered in the end.

Re: Vishnu Vardhan thread...
Damn, Vishnu had breakpoint oppourtunities in both 1st & 3rd games against Molachnov serve but could not convert & now he gets broken. He is down 1-4 in the second set.
Missed 3 more breakpoints at 2-4 , 40-0 to get back on serve. Now he is 0 out 5 in bp conversion in second set whie Molachnov is 1 out of 2 & leading 5-2 as a result.

Re: Vishnu Vardhan thread...
Big missed opportunity for Vishnu after getting lucky break in a draw ... He had a big chance of reaching quarters of this big challenger.
