Actually, Divij is still just short of top 50 being ranked 51 this week, equalling his earlier career high achieved in July. Hope he scales inside top 50 soon.

What's next? I can't see him in any of the 250's or 500's this week.

That explains it. I didn't check Challengers as I thought he'd be playing an ATP tournament.

There are only 2 500 level tournaments this week and I presume it would be difficult for Divij to find a last minute partner for an onsite entry - otherwise he would have certainly made the QD cut.

Divij had entered Basel ATP 500 for this week along with Yuichi Sugita but unfortunately just finished 1 out from the main draw. That explains what he had to play with a not so good partner in Brest challenger going there at the last moment.

This is a nice article on Divij -

Divij Sharan keen on breaking into the doubles top 30 after memorable 2017 season

It is great to see him do so well in a year where he had to break an established partnership in the middle of the year. It looks like may re-join with Lipsky next year.

Bummer, but he is doing well carrying the relatively inexperienced partner through this week..... :notworthy:
Sameer, is there a source to check the Doubles entry lists?

Let's hope the Lipsky partnership does get confirmed for next year. Divij deserves to get a regular partner.

Divij seems to playing at a very high level. Hopefully, he'll achieve his top 30 doubles ranking goal. Having a regular partner for next year will be critical...

Divij is playing the big Bratislava challenger this week. Would be interesting to see whom he partners with. His Q1 Singles match is currently on.

Q1 - Divij Sharan lost to Samuel Puskar 6-7(5), 4-6. Close but no cigar. Nice to see him playing singles.
