Well, he won't even be at the Bogota ATP250, which he won in 2013 and reached the semis in 2014. I see him at the Recanati Challenger, where he's in the singles qualifying draw. Not sure who he'll be partnering in the doubles.

Divij lost his QR1 match to the higher ranked Italian

[QR1] Divij Sharan (IND,878) l. (7) Riccardo Ghedin (ITA, 493) 4-6 6-7(3)

Meanwhile, he's got another new partner on the doubles front- Ken Skupski and they're seeded 2nd. This should be another short term arrangement as Ken normally plays with brother Neal on the Challenger tour.

[R1] (2) Divij Sharan (IND,128) / Ken Skupski (GBR,121) vs Mohammed Safwat (EGY,522) / Tristan-Samuel Weissborn (AUT,312)

That's an interesting partnership with Ken Skupski for Divij.....

Hopefully Ken will prove to be good luck samaritan that Divij needs... :goodluck:
Ken helped his younger brother Neal from ~1000 at the start of 2013 (when Ken was near Top-50) to a Top-100 rank by the end of 2013...

They next play local wildcards Caruso/Napolitano (who beat Ghedin/Moriya in R1).

Divij-Ken score straight sets win over their Italian opponents and enter into the semis ... In first set both pairs failed to take a break but in tie-break Divij-Ken took control from beginning to win it ... After winning first set Divij-Ken dominated second set and won it with double break.

At $50K+H Recanati Challenger, Italy

[QF] (2) Divij Sharan (IND)/ Ken Skupski (GBR) bt (WC) Salvatore Caruso (ITA)/ Stefano Napolitano (ITA) 76(4) 62

Divij & Ken run into another pair of local wild cards- Berrettini & Eremin in the semis. They upset 3rd seeded Ratiwatana twins in the quarters.

Great result ! Doubt that Divij can stick with Ken though. Ken usually plays with brother Neal, who was away at the World Team Tennis this week and will probably return back to the tour

Divij & Ken staged a superb comeback to win the title in a rain interrupted final :bounce: They were down 4-6 2-4 at one stage

[F] (2) Divij Sharan (IND)/ Ken Skupski (GBR) d. (4) Ilija Bozoljac (SRB)/ Flavio Cipolla (ITA) 4-6 7-6(3) 10-6

The 7th career Challenger title for Divij and his 1st in 2015. Also the 1st time he's won a Challenger outside Asia. Will get 90 ATP pts, a welcome respite since he was dropping the same amount this week due to his Bogota ATP semi final from last year

His Bogota ATP points have already dropped off. Everything post Wimbledon is 1 week late this week due to greater gap between French open and Wimbledon. He will climb up close to 125 next Monday.

Nice to see Divij win a title just when he needed to rejuvenate his doubles career!
