Philippe DE BONNEVIE (FRA) defeated Divij SHARAN (IND) 6-4 6-3

Divij needs to win these matches. That's it for singles this week. The doubles SF is to be played.

Super easy first round match for Divij. His opponent Bini, hasn't played any tournament for last 4 years except for 3 future tournaments in Ivory coast. This is the first time he qualified and will be the first match of his life in the main draw. Go Divij

Divij is playing singles qualifiers at the Euro45K+H Challenger on hard courts at St. Remy, France. I presume he is playing doubles too, although Vishnu isn't in the singles main draw. In a small draw, he won one round and is in the final qualifying round, where he has a tough match against George Bastl.

Divij gave a very tough fight to George Bastl, who is now 35 years old but was ranked as high as #71 in singles a decade ago. Nice to see Divij take a set off him, and to see him/Ashutosh getting a doubles wildcard.
