Wow, that is a good win Divij, especially on clay. He can every now and then produce such results in singles. A bit sad that he does not play singles too often.

At $50K San Luis Potosi Challenger, Mexico (Clay)

[Q2] Divij Sharan(IND,895) vs. Daniel Elahi Galan (COL,408)

Looks like a few of our players have to rethink their career plans at the end of the year.

Divij and Purav get together again for this big $100K Challenger. They are seeded fourth, and play a Brazilian pair (Monteiro/Clezar) in R1. They are in the bottom half of the draw, so are drawn to meet the 2nd seeded pair (Novikov/Peralto) in the SF -- if the latter can beat Ward/GMeltzer in the QF.

Divij and Purav got a walkover in R1. They play Arevallo and Galdos (of El Salvador and Peru) in the QF. Ward/Meltzer lost in a STB in R1, so their SF opponents are likely to be the second-seeded pair. But first, need to win the QF!

In the other half of the draw, the top seeds (Skupsky and Lipski) were knocked out in R1.

Too bad Purav and Divij got a walkover. They need to play more matches together. Hope they win R2.
