X-posting from Shikha's thread.
Nice article on the Uberoi sisters - http://www.nj.com/columns/times/index.s ... xml&coll=5
It looks like she is done with Tennis for now. She appears to be inclined towards Journalism, and Marketing and very active on her blog - http://www.nehasworld.com (Had requested Social media icons and I see them already!)

Came across this article about Neha -
Neha Uberoi: My painful journey from a pro-tennis career to self-discovery
Pretty sad story about a promising player.

Sad? I would say inspiring seeing how she battles out of depression.
But it also gives us real picture of loneliness on the tour.

Re: The Neha Uberoi thread ...
Hi folks, resurrecting this thread after a long time. I met Neha recently in NY and interviewed her for India Tennis Daily. She's an amazing person and was really a lot of fun to talk to her.
If any of you are interested, please read this three part series. It may be difficult for a typical reader to read such lengthy interviews (and keep their attention span intact ) but the audience in this group is quite knowledgeable. Also, some of the other readers including our own Mr. Narayan found these interviews incisive ).
Btw, some of you may be interested to know Shikha is working on an off with my son Rohan in NJ. She is an amazing person, a very smart coach and is also very humble.

Part 2: https://indiantennisdaily.com/2018/12/2 ... rt-2-of-3/

The same interview series is also published by Bridge. (it's a great blog)..

Thanks Sameer. I kept getting locked out. I had to keep resetting my password every week. Been reading but couldn't post much.

Re: The Neha Uberoi thread ...
Gautam, this is the best interview I’ve read among our small group. It wouldn’t have been possible without Neha’s candidness. I applaud her as well as you for drawing her out. Neha is a fantastic person. This interview should be published in all Indian publications here that are usually replete with only three things: Bollywood, green card, and politics.
P.S. I thought Neha was on a long term assignment in the Australia/Fiji area for some clinic. I might even have posted that here. Maybe it was Shikha. I’ll look and find it.

Re: The Neha Uberoi thread ...
Thanks, Atithee. It was very easy to talk to her. I basically used every word that she said (converted the audio file to a transcript )
Neha lives in Manhattan with her husband and daughter and Shikha lives in Princeton, NJ with her husband (very close to where she grew up). I have been taking my son to play with Shikha twice a month or so.

Re: The Neha Uberoi thread ...
What is Neha Uberoi doing these days?
She received a WC to Dubai WTA Qualifying and lost to Bernarda Pera of USA (WTA, 82) in straight sets 1 & 0.

Re: The Neha Uberoi thread ...
It was Nikita Uberoi ( not Neha) who played in Dubai with that wild card. I guess he is the sister of Shikha/Neha Uberoi. She is 25 though with no WTA rankings, ITF singles ranking of 726 and doubles ranking of 524. Not sure how she got a wild card here.
