Damn, I can't say I didn't have a premonition on that loss. I fail to understand the extreme score disparity in her matches versus top-500 and below 700 players. It's day and night.

Nice article on the Uberoi sisters - http://www.nj.com/columns/times/index.s ... xml&coll=5
Good to read this paragraph and hope she has some good results in those occasional events.

She is also pretty active on her YouTube channel - http://www.youtube.com/uberoipr/"The students here have incredible stories," she said. "I'm so impressed with them and I'm happy to be a part of it. I'm not ready to say retire yet and haven't completely let go of my dream."

Re: Shikha Uberoi thread ...
I think she is the only Indian woman apart from Sania to have made the top 100 in doubles. Why can't she concentrate full-time on doubles?

I guess that is what she is doing. She has not played any singles in last one year but has played 4 ITF tournaments since last month.rajorshi wrote: Why can't she concentrate full-time on doubles?

She co-founded the Indian wing of Indi.com, and under its banner, began working on a concept that was a metaphor for who she was – ‘purposeful programming.’ Providing raw entertainment with the purpose of diving home pure social change was at the heart of her endeavour, ‘Kaun Banega Hero’ – a series of webisodes documenting astounding stories of unsung heroes.
