Re: Yuki Bhambri
Yes, I was surprised with that decision. They are playing Projestov challenger on clay instead of Surbitron on grass. Let's see if they continue that path in subsequent weeks too.

Re: Yuki Bhambri
At this time, he is completely out of Surbiton Ch.
For May 30, This is the only tournament he is still part of in singles(and that is clay):
Tournament Type Main Draw Qualifying
Prostejov CH Alternate #137 Alternate #59
For Jun 6th (singles):
Tournament Type Main Draw Qualifying
Nottingham CH Alternate #34 (Most likely)
Perugia CH Alternate #81
Lyon Challenger CH Alternate #83
Bratislava CH Alternate #84
For June 13th:
Tournament Type Main Draw Qualifying
Queen's ATP Alternate #107
Ilkley CH Alternate #94

Re: Yuki Bhambri
Why not try to get into Queen's using his PR? I presume he is now preserving everything for the hard court season. But will he even have 6 weeks of tournament play before his PR runs out? It is really difficult to understand how Yuki plans his career.
I presume he will be able to play the qualifying rounds at the Nottingham Challenger. The following week, he should just plunge into Queen's with his PR.

Re: Yuki Bhambri
Queens entry list is out and Yuki has not entered with PR. I guess with no points at Wimbledon, he decided to give grass season a miss. Will mostly only play Wimbledon qualies using 1 PR. Then, 5 PR left to be used in US hardcourt season. Not sure if he will be able to use all of them.

Re: Yuki Bhambri
Maybe, if he does OK at Wimbledon, he will use his PR at Newport (just as he seems to be playing at Prostejov next week after the clay season has ended...).

Re: Yuki Bhambri
Maybe he is looking to use some PRs for after-USO indoor carpet tournaments? The blue turf is fast, nor uneven bounce like in grass, but fast, I think, and I do not know if he has done well on that historically and has the game for that.

Re: Yuki Bhambri
He isn't in the Nottingham Challenger qualifying draw. There are 3 players ranked lower than him in that draw. I wonder what happened. Did he pull his name out...??

Re: Yuki Bhambri
We should just forget about Yuki or at least try to anticipate his moves. Most of the world except Indians don’t really cares for doubles anyway. Even India will stop caring about it soon. Be honest.

Re: Yuki Bhambri
I think he is just collecting some data and has no intention of playing singles as of now. As soon as he got into Surbiton Challenger, he withdrew his name. Saketh is playing with someone else for doubles in Bratislava. Yuki had entered as alternate in single at Bratislava as well, but is not showing in doubles. He is not playing anywhere this week.

Re: Yuki Bhambri
Yuki posted on facebook that his clay season is done. If my guess is right, he is somewhere in Europe and not playing this week... Not sure he'll play next week either. We may see him play Wimbledon Q R1 and then onto the US hard-court season
Yuki's partner Saki is playing doubles in Bratislava with another partner this week...
