I think for grand slam qualifying you are allowed to play next week's event if you lose in the qualifying as qualifying is considered a different event for previous week.

Precisely.  He is the top seed in the current Turkey challenger, presumably on his way to being upset in the QF by an inspired Prakash.

Yes, surprising decision of skipping the grass season .. Mustafa and Nathan having winning start at Guzzini Challenger ... But match was very close with very few points difference.

I think his doubles ranking is not good enough to get an entry in the ATP main draws. So, he is prefering to play challengers. Good win in R1 there.

Good work to make the doubles SF in a clay Challenger last week. I wish Mustafa would try and turn up for the Dublin Challenger next week. Grass is clearly his best surface as well.
