Divij has good potential, needs a good partner likes of Dodig or Bryans.

When i first said it nobody believed this would happen except Jay,
I guess we are old enough to be pessimistic. That applies to most people, except to a certain incorrigible economist in our midst.

I'm happy to report that, in this instance, the "split" is temporary -- because DiPu weren't certain to get into the draw with their combined ranking.

Every dog has his day, and every economist gets proven right on an odd day or two :)

Huh, I was traveling and busy with first week of classes. So, I missed all the heartburn. Good :-) Oftentimes, there are reasons that we do not see.

Good win. Shouldn't Paes have been in Edmonton last week :) ?

If they had gone strictly by rankings at the time, Leander and not Purav should have been picked. Before the US Open, Leander was ranked higher. After the US Open, Purav edged up mainly because he partnered LP and won a round!

Good to see the consummate win over the fourth seeds. The semifinal is against the top seeded pair of Peralta/Zeballos.
