Rohan played against Denises one of whom is Shapalov ? That’s really weird. Or, maybe not as he is playing with his first choice partner.

Doubles have basically become a super-tiebreaker game. Just play a super-tiebreaker and get done with it. Why waste time with sets?

For the third week running, Rohan runs into Denis in first round and this time Denis prevails.

At ATP Masters 1000 Cincinnati, USA

[R1] Rohan Bopanna (IND) / Matwe Middlelkoop (NED) l. Denis Shapovalov (CAN)/ Karen Khachanov (RUS) 67(6) 76(12) 6-10

Another one which went to super tie break. As Jay said, 80% of the doubles matches seem to be going to super tiebreak.
