Sumit has not withdrawn from Cordoba ATP. He is very much there in the qualies.

Re: Sumit Nagal thread
Sumit went 1-5 down in the first set before starting his comeback. Was too late to salvage the first set. But, has now won 9 of next 12 games. Hopefully, this resurgence will continue in third set.

Re: Sumit Nagal thread
Resurgence continued for next 2 games as he went up 2-0 in third set. But, he has now lost the next 3 games to go 2-3 down in third set. Strange up and down match this is for Sumit.

And loses the decider 36, surprising loss on his favourite surface and that too, to a 400 ranked player.

Re: Sumit Nagal thread
Sumit hasn't been playing well for sometime, so not a big surprise. The slower court should favor his game but most players playing here are also clay court specialists, so he has to be playing well to win.

Re: Sumit Nagal thread
Covid has definitely been a massive setback to Indian tennis. Nobody is winning much, apart from Ankita's golden run at Melbourne 4 (Phillip Island Trophy) in doubles especially, but also one breakthrough singles win.
