Yuki-Saketh are not in the original entry list anywhere. But, I think they can still make it to doubles draws as on-site sign in. In any case, there are not too many tournaments on hard courts in next couple of months. So, they cannot make a plan to play only on hard courts. Now having travelled all the way there, I hope they continue playing in North America. There are challengers both in USA and Mexico in next 3 weeks. Only the third week in Mexico is on hard courts.sanjay8886 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 08, 2022 9:32 pm [SF] Yuki Bhambri (IND) / Saketh Myneni (IND) d. Akira Santilan (AUS) / Rubin Statham (NZL) 64 64

For the next 3 weeks ,Yuki has entered 4 different Challengers in North America as an singles alternative, so would be playing doubles at these places for next 3 weeks.
Meanwhile Ramchandran has withdrawn from next week's Mexico to take a well deserved break at the Academy

Excellent win, with a fine win over the second seeds in the final, having earlier beaten the top seeds. Quiroz, though, is Ecuadorian -- not from Colombia. He is a nephew of Andres Gomez and a cousin of Nicholas Lapentti. Quiroz himself is a former FO and USO junior doubles champion, but top-150 is his best ranking level in ATP doubles. Basically every decent tennis player in Ecuador seems to be related to Andres Gomez, the former FO champion and world #2 (who lost to Ramesh Krishnan in the final of the HK Open, the same tournament in which Ramesh beat Connors and Cash in earlier rounds).
Yuki rises to 376 in the doubles live rankings, but will still need to keep using his PR to get into Challenger doubles draws. Saketh re-enters the top-200.

Not quite. Next week at Sarasota the pair has made it in on Yuki's regular ranking. Sometimes doubles draws at these challengers drop a lot.
Great week for Yuki and Saki this one winning the title convincingly beating top 2 seeds on the way.
