Good results for Yuki. I hope he transitions to singles and gives it one last shot. If he feels he cannot do singles he should just stick with doubles and try to emulate the Indian Express.

Yes, Yuki-Saki pair is into their third challenger final this year and they have won the last 2 finals which they made. So, hope they will make it a hat-trick of final wins tomorrow.

At Porto Challenger 80, Portugal (Hard)

[F] (2) Yuki Bhambri (IND) / Saketh Myneni (IND) vs. (1) Nuno Borges (POR) / Francisco Cabral (POR)

Borges and Cabrak are having a huge success since middle of the last year winning some 7-8 challenger titles together and 1 ATP title too. So, they will be big favourites in the final.

Yuki/Saki wins another CH title 6-4 3-6 10-6  Borges/Cabral are a ATP level team, so this was a good win against the home favorites. Live rankings indicate Saki at #124 and Yuki at #164 after this title win.

They feature in the doubles draw at the Amersfoot (Netherlands) Challenger 80 starting next week and are seeded fourth.

Great win for Yuki—Saketh!!!

Their opponents were 22-3 this year and both well inside the top 100 in doubles. Yuki-Saketh themselves are 28-7 this year and seemingly getting better….

Yes, that a real good quality win by Yuki and Saketh.

Saketh is now 125 in live rankings and Yuki is at 166. Will still need to notch a lot more of these kind of performances to try to go upto ATP level. It is so tough for challenger level doubles players to move upto ATP level, will need to win 7-8 challenger titles or so. RamK got lucky in partnering Rohan at 2 ATP events where they won the titles which got him 500 points to quickly get him upto where he is now at a ranking level where he can play ATP tournaments.

Next week Yuki-Saki are playing in Netherlands and most likely the week after they are playing in Kazakhstan.
