^^^
The singles title winner from last week lost 0 and 1, so there must be a serious hangover for those that went deep in the prior week.

Yep, their bodies cannot take matches in consecutive days for eight days or six days or whatever it is, it seems. This type of thing happens in a lot of cases I have seen.

That was his second round result. Nardi won his first round match 7-5 7-5.

Our guys suffer when they don’t travel with a physio. Other well-funded teams benefit from recovery protocols which are very expensive and they hav3 a built-in edge over our men and women.

Re: Forli (Italy) ATP Challenger series
Next week at the Forli 3 CH, Prajnesh and Sriram Balaji will join Arjun. Prajnesh just snuck into the main draw acceptance list, whereas Balaji will have a new partner in Karol Drzewiecki from Poland, and Arjun too will partner with someone new, Vladyslav Manafov from Ukraine.
Despite Prajnesh being the last accepted player in the main draw (And Mukund might be deep in the qualifying alternates list), I presume there will be some more withdrawals based on the performance at the AO for some of the top players here.

Re: Forli (Italy) ATP Challenger series
Our string of first round losses continue as Prajnesh succumbed to the 2nd seed Qualys by a dismal score of 6-3 6-1. Is it premature to say that his career is looming towards the end (considering his age, singles performance, and the fact that he doesn’t play doubles)?

He should start playing doubles. Or maybe he does not like doing so and would rather retire.

The doubles pairs featuring Arjun and Balaji (separately) lost in R1 there as well. Dismal week for the Indian contingent.
