NRI and Wimbledon junior champion Samir Banerjee is playing his R2 (round of 32) junior match (possibly received a bye, as he is the second seed). He is up 6-0, 5-4 against a German who beat Bjorn Borg's son Leo in R1 (via a 3rd set TB).

Update: 2nd seeded Samir Banerjee is comfortably through to the last 16, with a 6-0, 6-4 victory.

Yes, Samir Banarjee lost in boys singles QF.

But, Rajeev Ram went on to win his first US Open and second grand slam mens doubles title. He will rise up to a career high of#4 in new rankings. Rajeev is still going strong in mens doubles.
