Good to see Siddhant Bhatia mixing in some pro tennis while on break from his Wake Forest College tennis duties. Our former top-ranked junior registered 23 wins out of 31 singles matches (most of them at #5, #6 except for one at #2) during the 2019 Spring term.

Hopefully, he is able to win a couple of rounds here. :goodluck:

It is great to see Manish get a few matches under his belt. He has had a difficult 2019 losing several R1 matches.

Nice couple of wins by Rishab after a long time. He is probably getting back into his groove after a long injury lay off.

Nice run by Siddharth to make a 25K final I think for the first time in his career.

First ITF title for Sid Rawat after long years of struggle. He deserves his own thread after this.

Great job winning a $25K Futures title. He has indeed travelled all over in search of points, and this is just reward for his efforts. Having just turned 26, he needs to make a leap of another 150 slots in the rankings soon, so that he can start playing Challengers more regularly.

This week's results in Singapore so far.

At $15K ITF Men Singapore

R1
Abhinav Sanjeev SHANMUGAM (IND) 6-4 6-1 Congsup CONGCAR (THA)
Ryota TANUMA (JPN) [6] 6-2 4-6 6-1 Siddhant BANTHIA (IND)
Manish SURESHKUMAR (IND) [3] 6-4 6-2 Kelsey STEVENSON (CAN)
Kunal ANAND (IND) 6-0 6-3 Pol WATTANAKUL (THA) [4]
Rimpei KAWAKAMI (JPN) 6-1 6-3 Adil KALYANPUR (IND)

R2
Ryota TANUMA (JPN) [6] 6-3 3-6 6-2 Abhinav Sanjeev SHANMUGAM (IND)
Manish SURESHKUMAR (IND) [3] 6-1 6-0 Shamirul Shahril MOHD ADAM DAS (MAS)
Kunal ANAND (IND) 7-6(3) 6-4 Cameron GREEN (AUS)

So, Manish and Kunal are thru to the QF. But, bit disappointing our best teenage players, Adil Kalyanpur and Siddhanth Banthia could not win a round at the lowest level of futures.

Next,

[QF] (3) Manish SURESHKUMAR (IND,582,ITF -188) vs.Jonathan GRAY (GBR,ITF-345)

[QF] Kunal ANAND (IND,ITF-784) vs. (8) Alec ADAMSON (USA,ITF-413)

Both lost in the QF. :-(

At $15K ITF Men Singapore

[QF] (3) Manish SURESHKUMAR (IND,582,ITF -188) vs.Jonathan GRAY (GBR,ITF-345) 36 16

[QF] Kunal ANAND (IND,ITF-784) l. (8) Alec ADAMSON (USA,ITF-413) 36 57

Manish is clearly not playing at his ranking level and his ranking will start dropping soon unless he picks up his game.
