Great stuff from Saketh, and a real shot in the arm after many months of close losses in early rounds. It has been a long way back from that R1 match at the US Open against Jiri Vesely, where match-point was called in his favour but over-ruled by the umpire on a court that didn’t have a replay camera.

Prajnesh will be in the Wimbledon main draw, and I have a feeling that both RamK and Saketh will join him through Roehampton, where the courts are more genuine grass courts a la Newport (while Wimbledon has been doctored to play slower and truer).

Yes, surprisingly tame loss, suggesting that he was fatigued. Not good signs for playing and winning Challengers. The earlier he can switch to ATP tour events the better.

Arjun's poor form continues as he lost in straight sets against a lower ranked local opponent ... VSP also lost in straight sets against Celikbilek ... Mukund will be facing Celikbilek in the second round.
