Dinesh, you forgot your password because of your user name 'Bujilover' as Buji is now "out of sight, out of mind". ;)

Hope Arjun can pick up a lot of ITF points at least from these 3 weeks in Nigeria ( as ATP points on offer are not that great - 5 points for winner, 3 for runner up). A good ITF ranking can get him into ATP challengers and ultimately winning rounds there can lift his ATP ranking. With new system, the climb up the ladder has become really difficult for the players ranked between 300 to 500. Climbing up the ATP ranking by winning series of futures is not possible now.

Siddharth Rawat and Manish Sureshkumar are playing couple of $25K's in Kazakhstan in next couple of weeks.

Poor performances from our players except for Arjun (who, being the top seed in doubles lost the QF).

ROund 1:
Li-Wei TAN (TPE) 6-2 6-2 Kunal ANAND (IND)
Guy Orly IRADUKUNDA (BDI) 7-5 6-4 Suraj R PRABODH (IND)

Arjun plays Zimbabwean Benjamin Lock in the QF. :goodluck:

Arjun did drop his serve in the match but overall Doumbia had better stats in the sets which finally reflected in him winning the 2 tie breaks.

Arjun gets only 1 ATP point here for reaching the SF. He gets 67 ITF points which will get his ITF ranking to around 230. Of course, he needs to get that ITF ranking into top 50 to get into challenger main draws thru that route.
