Why is he still playing on clay??

This is his first tournament on clay this season.

He is training in some academy in Europe. So, probably he finds it easier to compete at nearby places.

That's even worse -- he is playing on clay (at last) after the clay season is over! Even if he is in Europe, he should be looking for hard-court tournaments to play there during the hard-court season.

VSP lost to Balaji in the qualifying round but eventually got into the main draw as a LL and also got a R1 bye (due to R Molleker's WD). Balaji and Vishnu are the 2nd seeds in the doubles draw.
