I don't think India will any longer send it's team, in view of this recent development.

Yeah, just when the terrorists think that the bug country would be taken by us as just a bug country, they do something to make us want to exterminate the bugs, rather than swat them. No playing in Islamabad. Pakistan can take a win by default if they want, and go to hell for all I care.

I think we should just infiltrate Pakistan and assassinate the terrorist leaders. Take them out like the U.S. did with Bin Laden. We cannot pay for a full-fledged conventional warfare and it will possibly not be resolving much either. But, targeted, successful operations can help a great deal to destabilize terrorist camps. Or quick sortees to bomb known terrorist camps although that may draw some international condemnation. Smart operations are needed, imho.

Self driving cars! Just like drones.

Unilaterally scrap water treaties. World condemnation be damned.

Use IT hacks to steal all the loaned money just like Bangladesh lost millions recently.

None of these need conventional warfare.

Work with Iran for joint operations:

Due to ongoing recent developments and what new approach the Pak Govt may adopt, will determine the fate of this tie , next 2-3 weeks are going to be crucial.

With anti India sentiments running high in Pakistan,  and today an influential minister even called for suspension of diplomatic ties ,With each passing day, till the day of the tie , the sentiments , hostile behavior is only going to deteriote rather rather than improve.

Under such hostile and tense situation , is it worthwhile to put our team at risk, MB even before the abrogation of 370, was very guarded about the security situation.
HongKong who's foreign policy decision are entirely taken by Beijing, refused permission to HKG Davis Cup team to make a trip to Islamabad.

This shouldn’t even be a question. We must refuse to travel there.

Actually we should ask ITF for immediate action in moving the DC to some neutral spot or something. I don't like them to penalize us. But it may be too late. If they refuse, we may have no choice. Play it in Dubai or somewhere.

So just I expected , In the morning IK's sidekick threatened downgrading of ties with India and now it is official.

SVENGALI Khanna , will try his usual fear mongering , suspension and doomsday talks , but there shouldn't be any consideration of travel to the bug land and put our Team at risk in this volatile atmosphere

With just 5 weeks to go, India (AITA) must approach the ITF immediately to discuss playing it at a neutral venue like Dubai. Pakistan is a terrorism-infested country, and no Indian sportsperson could possibly travel there when our diplomatic representation there doesn't exist.

Hopefully they can play the tie somewhere in the middle east - should attract a good crowd of expats...
