What experience these Pakistan boys will get from this tie? Not sure ... The posting score is also painful.

The expected win for Ram in 42 mins against Muhammad Shoaib.

[R1] Ramkumar Ramanathan (IND,176) bt Muhammad Shoaib (PAK,UNR) 60 60

A W is a W... but looks like the bad guys sent a couple of 4.5 rated club players. India could have played Jaideep Mukherjee, Ramanathan Krishnan, Nandan Bal and S. P. Misra and might have still won. Much less even need Vijay, Anand, Ashok, Sashi, or Ramesh. Ho hum...😴

Yes, first davis cup win by Sumit. So,he was perhaps a bit nervous which led to him losing 2 games. ;)

India vs Pakistan 2-0

[R1] Ramkumar Ramanathan (IND,176) bt Muhammad Shoaib (PAK,UNR) 60 60
[R2] Sumit Nagal (IND,131) bt Huzaifa Abdul Rehman (PAK,UNR) 60 62
Huzaifa Abdul Rehman has a career-high junior ranking of 380, so he can play a bit. He won two Grade 5 junior tournaments in Islamabad this year (in February and October), but won just one round in the few Grade 4 and Grade 3 tournaments he played. In a Grade 5 junior event in the UAE earlier this month, he beat fellow-17-year-old Rohan Mehra (IND, J827; CH J328) in a close 3-setter.

The other guy, Muhammad Shoaib, seems to have skipped junior events, but (also aged 17 officially) has played 4 Futures in Pakistan this year (one as a wildcard, 3 after qualifying in) but has yet to win a main draw round. He does have an ITF pro ranking of 1857...

There were a couple of players, 25 year old Muhammad Abid and 20 year old Muzzamil Murtaza, with ATP rankings of 1452 and 1568 respectively. But the PTF decided not to spend them, instead petulantly spending their best junior players. Unsurprisingly they were no match for the Indian team.

11 Games, 0 Sets, and No Match.
The build up drama was way more interesting than the tie.
