Anning $15K Men's ITF Futures - January 2019
VSP, Nitin Kumar Sinha and Anirudh Chandrashekar have entered these $15K Futures in Anning for the next 2-3 weeks.
The main draw cut off is 922 which is nothing unusual but this direct acceptance also included 4 junior players through their top-100 junior ranking. Hopefully, some of our young players (Mann Shah, Sacchitt Sharma) will make use of this benefit at least at the Asian level.

Good win by Nitin.
That 922 cut is based on ITF rankings. There are only 4 players here who have ATP rankings. Rest all have entered with their ITF ranking. Lots of changes as we try to figure out the new dual ranking system.bujilover wrote: ↑Mon Dec 31, 2018 3:02 pm The main draw cut off is 922 which is nothing unusual but this direct acceptance also included 4 junior players through their top-100 junior ranking. All 3 of them continue here at the Anning F2 Futures this week. VSP (should have made use of the weaker Vietnam CH) and Nitin are in direct MD, Anirudh has to qualify. Better luck this week.

VSP is 32 now and does not have an ATP singles rankings. I am not sure he can aspire to have much of a career in singles. He should specialise in doubles where he has some chance having been ranked 246 in ATP rankings as of now.

Re: Anning $15K Men's ITF Futures - January 2019
Both lost in the QF.
[QF] N. Vijay Sundar PRASHANTH (IND,403) l. Naoki TAJIMA (JPN,1182) 36 26
[QF] Nitin Kumar SINHA (IND,625) l. Kazuki NISHIWAKI (JPN,487) 76(3) 26 46
Nitin needs to make some of those early upsets count and go deeper at these ITF tournaments and get a better ITF ranking to start with.

He needs to go to college. Not ready for professional tennis.
