Re: October 2018 Challengers
Mukund wins nice and easy there with a 6-2 second set. Good to see him back to the level he played before this year.

Re: October 2018 Challengers
Okay, back to calling him Mukund. Well, I haven't called him Sasi, but was thinking Sasi in my mind for a while .. Now he has bought more time. Good work Mukund. And good to see RamK winning, though Sumit really has to make a comeback and some point to hi form a year ago.

Wow, that was a terrific win for Mukund over last year’s US Open junior champion.

Re: October 2018 Challengers
It appears that Saki's body is unable to hold up in Singles. Could this be the end of his singles career? He could have a decent career playing doubles.

Re: October 2018 Challengers
RamK loses the first set 67(3) against Safwat. He had 2 set points with Safwat serving at 5-6 but could not convert.
RamK keeps playing blocked returns and silces which is good tactics as surprise but if he keeps playing that all the time the other player can adjust.

Re: October 2018 Challengers
Safwat is an experienced player -- RamK better adjust to him or else he's going to lose R1.

Re: October 2018 Challengers
He lost in straight sets.
[R2] (3) Ramkumar Ramanathan (IND,121) l. Mohamed Safwat (EGY,202) 67(3) 46
It is quite disappointing 3 weeks China challenger series for RamK. Just 1 win over Sumit this week and this when he was seeded in top 3 in all the 3 weeks.

Re: October 2018 Challengers
Mukund was twice up a break first 4-2 and then 5-3 against Canadian 8th seed Peliwo was broken back both times, second time while serving for the set. Now, Peliwo serving at 4-5 in the first set.
And Mukund breaks Peliwo again to take the first set 6-4.
