Jay - after a couple of years of silence I am once again requesting you and forum members who are able to contact Yuki/ his think tank to please contact Egoscue clinic in San Diego and work with them on his posture issues.

After having personally struggled with bad back and bad this and that over the past 20+ years in all my research to find a way out to good physical health - Egoscue has stood out very strongly as probably the only treatment modality that looks at the body as a whole and not simply address the problem area. Example for neck pain exercises are more focused on the feet and hips because without first correcting imbalances there, there is no hope of doing a permanent fix of the neck pain etc.

However, if his karma dictates that he will not find the correct treatment /fix for his physical issues - then so be it.

Good to see 5 Indians in the final qualifying round which is rare for a challenger abroad. Have not seen that before.

2 main draw spots guaranteed. Hope Mukund will get a main draw spot after a few failed attempts in last few months.

Sasi first one to qualify, Sumit beats Arjun for the second time in straight sets.

Ramk vs Saki would be a great R1 match here.

Sid takes a set off Saki. It is one set all (3-6 6-3) and the final game has just started. I love it when our players fight each other.

They are going toe to toe with each other. Saki broke and was serving for the match at 5-3 but Sid broke back. Now, it is 5-5 with Saki serving.

Sid breaks Saki again to lead 6-5 and will serve for the match.

Saki broke back and then won a tight tie break. Good fight by Sid.

At $75K+H Shenzhen-2 Challenger 2018, China

[Q3] (2) Sumit Nagal (IND,312) d. (6) Arjun Kadhe (IND,356) 64 76(4)
[Q3] (3) Saketh Myneni (IND,316) d. Sidharth Rawat (IND,623) 63 36 76(5)
[Q3] Sasi Kumar Mukund (IND,494) d. Yaraslav Shyla (BLR,567) 64 75

Finally, a good result for Sasi Mukund. After qualifying in for 4 challengers in a row in April-May and also winning main draw rounds in a couple of them, he failed in the qualifying draws of 12 consecutive challengers. He finally makes it in 13th attempt.

So, we will have 5 players in the main draw here next only to host country China who had 4 wild cards.

So it's RamK vs Sumit then; no other Indian player in their half of the draw. Winner will either face Safwat or local player Tao. Meanwhile, Saki gets J Tatlot and Sasi will face wildcard Yibing. Hopefully these guys carry their momentum from the qualies further

Yes, bad start to the day for us at Shenzhen.

[R1] (4) Prajnesh Gunneswaran (IND,142) l. Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (ESP,259) 36 46

In last week's semi final too he looked tired. So, not a surprising result. Playing third consecutive week after a lot of matches in the first 2 weeks is always difficult. Hope he round off the year well at Bangalore and Pune challengers after a couple of weeks break.

Mukund,RamK-Sumit and Saketh matches are starting simultaneously on 3 courts now. Hope we get at least 1 more win apart from the all Indian match.

Only Mukund's match is on streaming court.

Sumit has taken the first set 6-3 against RamK .

Mukund is 5-5 against Wu in first set after exchanging couple of breaks each.

Mukund takes the first set 76(4) against Wu.

The Chinese youngster Wu who was considered the next big thing last year seems to be struggling this year. Lost in the first round in last 2 weeks too. Hope Mukund presses on his advantage now.
