Pranjala served for the match at 5-4 , saved 6 breakpoints and served out to complete an excellent win :D

At $25K+H ITF Women Tournament 2018, Lagos, Nigeria

[QF] (6) Pranjala Yadlapalli (IND,396) d.(2) Deniz Khazaniuk (ISR,206) 76 (3) 64

With our top 2 missing from circuit this week,Indian #3 and #4 are taking a step up this week. Both have had wins over players ranked close to top 200 . Need to check but these are mostly the career best wins for Rutuja and Pranjala.

Fabulous win for Pranjala. Great to see our young women really moving up quickly, as Pranjala and Rutuja look to catch up with Ankita and Karman -- while the latter two keep moving up too!

[SF] (6) Pranjala Yadlapalli (IND,396) 6-2 5-0 ret (4) Victoria Bosio (ARG,341)

Pranjala faces the top seed Conny Perrin in the Finals. Conny had to spend 2h53m on the court to defeat her SF opponent. Great week for Pranjala so far! :goodluck:

Yes, her best week of her career as this his first 25K final.

[F] (6) Pranjala Yadlapalli (IND,396) vs. (1) Conny Perin (SUI,144)

I don't know how a top 150 player is allowed to play a 25K tournament. I think on ATP tour, top 150 players are not allowed to play futures.

Pranjala is putting up a very good fight against the top seed.

After losing the first set tamely at 2-6, she was down a break 3-4 in the second set. She broke back, had a couple of set points with Corin serving at 4-5 which she could not convert. Then, faced 3 breakpoints at 0-40 but saved them all to hold for 6-5 and just now broke Corin to take the second set 7-5.
