“Asia” needs to be dropped from the title of this thread now...

Yuki is now ranked 100 and Carballes-Baena is 82, after winning the Barcelona Challenger on clay. He also won the ATP Quito tournament on clay earlier this year, but lost to RamK in Q1 at Chennai. If Yuki is in reasonable playing shape, he should win this match against a clay court specialist, albeit one in great clay form.

Jeevan is playing at the Stockholm ATP this week, partnering Ariel Behar (URU,97). Jeevan himself is at a career-high of 73 now.
None of our players in Antwerp or Stockholm is on the schedule for today.

Yuki now plays Lucky Loser Salvator Caruso (ITA, 167) at noon tomorrow on Court 1. Great opportunity to ease into competitive shape and notch a win!
The Leander vs Divij doubles match-up follows on the same court.

This is as easy as it gets at this level. Yuki should push himself for the win

Re: ATP Tournaments - September-October 2018
I wasn't able to catch up with the third set but I did so for the first 2. I thought Yuki would finally turn it around; especially with the way he was playing in the last 6 games in the second set. He was getting more power on his shots and was able to get sharper angles. Looks like he couldn't carry the same momentum in the third. At least in the first 2 sets he was able to play well (barring all those errors) i.e. his running and power generating ability didn't seem to be rusty. Nevertheless, it's a good way for him to gauge what he can do before he gets into the Asian challengers.

He was holding his knee a few times in third set, not sure if it was due to his ongoing tendonitis.
