Wonderful victory for Arjun. Glad he has arrested his short slump in form with this excellent upset win in a big Challenger.
That takes Arjun Kadhe to a new career-high ranking of 328.

Bad outing for Ramk ... A shocking straight sets loss of RamK against experienced Harri Heliovaara ... Manish also failed to challenge Duck Hee Lee in his one-sided loss.

Re: China Challengers July-August 2018
Turned to be a bad day for us as Arjun and Matsui also lost their doubles match against experience Chinese pair ... In the match tie-break, Arjun-Matsui had a match point at 9-8 on their own serve.

Sad that Ram K hasn't used the momentum from the finals at Newport to his advantage. These losses are truly shocking and 1 sided.

These losses are not shocking at all. Serve and Slice will not work on hard court. A strong fit energetic young man with full of energy is doing nothing to change the nature of his back hand is really shocking.

He has definitely improved his backhand markedly. Jet lag is probably one explanation for this bad loss in R1.

Re: China/Korea Challengers July-August 2018
At 5-4 Arjun breaks the 3rd seed Bublik to take the opening set 6-4 , Sid too broke his much higher ranked Korean opponent to take a 6-5 lead at which point the Korean took a MTO whereby upsetting his momentum and after a long game which went to few deuces , thankfully held on to take the opening first set 7-5
Come on Arun , Sid , finsh the job !!!
