This is just awful. Yuki has basically never had a full year on tour without injury.

Ramkumar, on the other hand, has been remarkably injury-free despite playing a really punishing schedule.

This could turn out positive for Yuki if he is spending his free time on conditioning and lots of prep for the major events, giving his body plenty of time to recover for the tougher matches ahead. I hope this is why he is skipping the challengers.

What a lousy draw. Our two players (Divij and Lee) end up playing each other in the doubles main draw.

Another way of looking at it is that we are assured of one Indian in the doubles QF (although it would have been even better if we could’ve had two...).

In Los Cabos, too, we have Jeevan/Austin taking on Purav/Jackson in R1! Same story.
