As Per TennisTeen , Yuki seems to have withdrawn from Washington. He was defending huge points (100) and a no show will bring down his ranking to around 98 or even out of 100 on Monday.

Ram is still few 2-3 places away from the main draw and hope he gets into the MD.
In the Live rankings he is 111 and shall remain at 111 a New career high when the official rankings come out on Monday as the only guy in the live rankings who could have possibly overtaken him Bradley Klahn lost in R1 in Binghhamton.

Yes, looks like another bad injury break for Yuki. Not sure how much time he will be off now. :damn:

This is just awful. Yuki has basically never had a full year on tour without injury.

Ramkumar, on the other hand, has been remarkably injury-free despite playing a really punishing schedule.

Ram misses the MD by a single spot and has to go through qualies,
But has to win only one match either against a WC or 214 ranked Mitchel Krueger to get into the MD
Also in the MD some interesting R1 encounters for qualifiers to move in R2

Verifies what I said earlier - if he is winning only 9/49 returns, then that is the Achilles heel and he is not penetrating and holding top 100 consistently with those kinds of statistics.

Ram is raja! Raja got the ram!

Still good showing by Raja-Skupski in this tournament.

Ryan Harrison is in both the singles and doubles final in Atlanta. He may finally have arrived as a serious pro.

Prajnesh qualified for the MD with a comfortable win. It's amazing he earned 47% of his career prize money just this year. Age 28 is definitely paying well for this hardworking guy. I hope he draws Tommy Fabbiano or Marcelo Arevalo in the MD. :goodluck:

Lost in the singles final but Basilashvili and Berrettini both won their finals to become the 9th and 10th first time winners on the tour this season.

Berrettini is an interesting case study. This board in general advocates kids to go play juniors aggressively but his family kept him away since he wasn't ready physically and slowly made them transition into futures and then challengers to keep him in a good state mentally.
